What’s especially difficult is when we receive no communication at all.

At The Parlour, we do everything we can to prevent missed appointments:

📲 Our system sends an automated confirmation 48 hours before your appointment
💬 If we notice you haven’t confirmed, we personally reach out the day before
📞 And we’ll reach out again the evening before

When someone still doesn’t show up and avoids our calls or messages, we’ve lost an appointment that another client could have booked—and our providers have lost income from time that was specifically reserved for that client.

We completely understand that life happens. Emergencies happen. Schedules change. We’re human too.

But please, communicate is important. Even if it’s last minute, answering the phone or sending a quick text makes a difference.

Late cancellation and no-show fees aren’t there because we want to charge them. They exist to protect our providers, their time, and the small business that supports them. 🤍
