🍟 Pregnant and craving fried chips? You don't have to panic—but eating them too often isn't the best choice.
Fried chips can be high in salt and fat while providing fewer nutrients than your body and baby need. They may also worsen heartburn and can easily become an everyday habit.
🥔 Choose baked, boiled, or lightly roasted potatoes more often, and enjoy fried chips occasionally.
It's not about never eating them. It's about making better choices more often. 🤰❤️

🍜 Pregnant and craving instant noodles? You don't necessarily have to avoid them—but don't make them an everyday meal.
Many instant noodles are high in sodium and low in fiber, protein, and important nutrients your body and baby need.
Want to make your noodles better? Add vegetables + a fully cooked egg + chicken, fish, or beans, and use less of the seasoning packet.
It's not about never eating noodles. It's about making sure they don't replace nutritious foods. 🤰❤️
Save this for your next noodle craving!

Pregnant moms, don’t overlook dates! 🌴
Dates can provide energy, fiber, potassium, magnesium, and other nutrients that support you during pregnancy. They can also help with constipation and make a convenient natural snack.
And in the final weeks of pregnancy, some research suggests dates may support favorable labor outcomes—but they are not a guaranteed way to start labor.
Save this for your pregnancy journey and share it with another mom-to-be. 🤰❤️

🍷 If you're pregnant, this is one food-and-drink rule you should take seriously.
There is no known safe amount of alcohol during pregnancy. Alcohol can affect your baby's developing brain and increase the risk of serious pregnancy and developmental problems.
Beer, wine, and spirits are not safer alternatives.
If you drank before realizing you were pregnant, don't panic. Stop drinking and speak with your healthcare provider about your situation.
Protecting your baby starts with the choices you make today. 🤰❤️

🥔 Can you eat potatoes during pregnancy? Yes!

Potatoes can provide energy, potassium, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and fiber—nutrients that can support both mom and baby.
The key is how you prepare them. Baked, boiled, or roasted potatoes are generally better choices than heavily fried potatoes.
Pair them with protein and vegetables for a more balanced pregnancy meal. 🤰🥔

Pregnant and struggling with constipation?
Before you reach for a remedy, take a look at your plate. 🤰🏽🍐y

Constipation is common during pregnancy, and hormonal changes can slow digestion. Your food and fluid choices can help support healthier bowel movements.
Try incorporating more fiber-rich foods gradually, including:
🍐 Pears & apples — whole fruits provide fiber
🌾 Oats — a source of soluble fiber
🫘 Beans & lentils — rich in dietary fiber
🥬 Vegetables — add variety and fiber to your meals
🫐 Berries & prunes — useful fruit choices; prunes contain sorbitol
💧 Water — important when increasing your fiber intake
One important reminder: don't suddenly increase your fiber intake overnight. Increase it gradually and drink fluids regularly so your body can adjust.

If constipation is persistent, severe, or not improving, speak with your healthcare professional rather than trying to manage it indefinitely on your own.

Feeling weak or constantly tired during pregnancy? Your body may need more than just calories—it needs the right nutrients. 🤰🏽❤️
During pregnancy, your body is working harder to support your growing baby. Nutrients such as protein, iron, calcium, folate, healthy fats, and other essential vitamins and minerals play important roles in supporting your blood supply, muscles, bones, tissues, and your baby’s development.
🥚 Eggs — protein + choline
🍗 Lean meat — protein + iron
🫘 Beans & lentils — protein + iron + folate + fiber
🥛 Yogurt — protein + calcium
🥬 Leafy greens — folate + iron + other nutrients
🥜 Nuts & seeds — healthy fats + protein + minerals
There is no single “magic” pregnancy food. A balanced and varied diet is what matters most.
