A little progress is progress. It’s been difficult completing the outside garden setup because it rains EVERYDAY! Like heavy rain 🌧️ so I told myself small completions will help me achieve the bigger goal 🥅

But yeah, 95% of the beds are laid out

If I haven’t said it, I inherited a property through survivorship and there is ALOT OF WORK to be done to upgrade. I’ve had the home completely to myself for the past year so I’ve invested A LOT of money to make upgrades. Also, fortunately, due to my past horrible contractor experiences, I’ve gotten some help from a local nonprofit.

Anywho, most of the time I’m in what I call “ugly mode” because I’m usually fixing SOMETHING 🪏😁

Today, I changed light fixtures. All the bulbs 💡 are motion sensor and light sensitive so when one or two are on, the other does not immediately come on due to the light sensitivity

I had every intention to be OUTSIDE playing in the dirt 😂 Nah, I wanted to continue working on my but it LITERALLY rained on my garden parade 😔

So, I was forced to stay inside and to finish putting my house back together and work on the other 50-11 projects that need to be completed

I’ve prolonged repotting my plant for the LONGEST. I FINALLY made time today to do it because some of the leaves from the bigger plant were starting to fall off.

When I pulled it from the soil there was this complex root system and it didn’t have space to grow.

Now, I have two 2️⃣ instead of one 1️⃣ 😁

Welp, I started to assemble the garden beds 😩 I didn’t know there were SO MANY screws!! And I had to do this for NINE 9️⃣ garden beds

As dreadful as it was I know it was worth it 😁

The space is coming along. All 50-11 staples are in securing the w**d barrier. Next is placing the garden beds in the space and setting up trellises

I’m still deciding on a border I keep going going back and forth between a few ideas 💡 the openness of it is refreshing but I know I have to set up some sort of barrier for animals and pests.
