Change… that’s my word for 2024.

As many of you know, I started working in direct sales nearly 8 years ago! I never (like, ever!) intended to work in this industry, but it’s brought so much to my life, and while it takes work, it can be incredibly rewarding.

But if you know me, you also know that I love and embrace change. I am not someone who likes to stay stagnant. When I worked in the corporate world, I was known to hop around from role to role - but only, always, to seek better opportunities. That were more of a fit for ME, personally or financially.

As the new year starts, I’m stepping into a new role with a new brand that just feels so authentically ME, for who I am today.

I have partnered with a brand called Oliveda, a beloved German waterless beauty brand that just debuted in the US about 6 months ago!

This elevated waterless brand uses a powerful compound extracted from the olive leaf tree instead of the 70% water most of your traditional beauty brands use in their products.

As a total skincare ju**ie, I am completely obsessed with these products from ingestible to topicals becaumse they are CLEAN, waterless/sustainable, anti-inflammatory and PACKED FULL OF ANTIOXIDANTS.

Oliveda products use a highly effective & globally unique holistic beauty molecule and elixir, hydroxytyrosol, and can only be found in mountain olive trees (you know I love to geek out on holistic things like this). This highly effective compound is one of the most powerful antioxidants that you can find. (Seriously, google it!)

As someone who is especially concerned with brain health, after losing my mother to dementia nearly 5 years ago, study after study has shown hydroxytyrosol to improve cognitive performance and protect the brain from neurodegenerative and age-related diseases.

With huge brand endorsements from celebs like Gigi Hadid, who used this brand throughout her entire pregnancy, you KNOW it’s really really good.. and my skin is already seeing the results.

Beyond the products, the business is truly unique. A new company, that’s already well established in Europe, follows EU standards, and is less than a year old with a really unique earning opportunity. This brand was originally planned to be launched exclusively in spas in the US.

Sustainability is intrinsic to this brand as well. In August 2013, the founder started the water project “OLIVEDA for Africa” and began to build one well in Africa for every 100 hectares of mountain olive tree land that OLIVEDA acquired. By now, about 15,000 residents in various villages are supplied with water from the OLIVEDA wells.

More than ever, I see the women around me rise up. The marketing clients I have, with families of their own, more concerned with my health & well being (mentally and physically!) than meeting a deadline. The digital communities I was already a part of, like , proving to be an immediate source of free services, advice and emotional support for each other. The mom group chats where we’re planning virtual playdates so our kids stay connected. My family coming together and coming up with solutions to keep our businesses thriving. My best friends, , sharing funny memes to lighten the mood & lesson plans we know we won’t follow...but also sharing our very real fears and feeling our love and concern for each other rocket straight through the phone. The sense of comfort I get from hitting the Facetime button and seeing my sister’s face. We’re in uncertain times, for sure. But I’m so grateful for the tribe I’ve surrounded myself with. Together we will get through it. 💞👭💪🏻

Over 80,000 chemicals have been introduced into commerce since World War II. 80 THOUSAND. Less than 10 percent of those have been tested for safety. But brands continue to include them in the products we’re using day after day. Bananas.
