Apparently I’m not just packing for one trip.
I’m packing for TWO trips. 😅
I’m heading out of town for our good friends’ wedding, coming home, and then turning around and traveling out to Florida for our annual convention. 🎉
So right now my bedroom looks like my suitcases have exploded in it.
And while I’m thinking about clothes, shoes, toiletries and everything else I need to remember, I’ve also been thinking about something I didn’t always plan for:
How am I going to take care of my BODY while I’m gone?
Travel can mean different beds, long periods of sitting, different food, less movement, hauling luggage around and being completely out of your normal routine.
And at this stage of life, my body has absolutely no problem letting me know when it doesn’t appreciate my choices. 😂
So I’m trying to plan for that too.
Movement.
Water.
Sleep.
Stretching.
Supplements.
Making thoughtful choices when I eat.
And yes, fasting is still one of the easiest habits for me to take anywhere.
I’m learning that taking care of myself doesn’t start when something hurts.
It starts with paying attention to the little things I can do before my body starts yelling at me.
And considering the amount of traveling I’m about to do…
I’m listening. 😂🤎

I honestly didn’t know what to expect as we gathered for our first Emotional Breakthrough Circle, but it turned into such a beautiful evening.
Thank you to every woman who said “yes” to making time for herself. Your openness, kindness, and willingness to simply be present made the evening so special.
I left feeling encouraged, grateful, and reminded that we were never meant to do life alone.
