One of the most important things patients learn during their consultation is that liposuction removes fat, but it does not tighten loose skin. Renuvion is a minimally invasive procedure that is used to contract tissue beneath the skin and improve skin tightening. It may be performed alongside liposuction or as a standalone procedure, depending on your treatment plan.
Renuvion is performed through small entry points beneath the skin and may be completed using local anesthesia or while the patient is asleep. Many patients notice tissue contraction shortly after treatment, with continued improvement occurring over time.
