I got married on 9/16/17, and this beautiful picture of me and my 3 year old daughter was taken right before I walked down the aisle. ❤️

With her older sister, I stopped breastfeeding after four months. So when my second daughter was born, I promised myself I was going to fight through every battle I had to and make it to one year.

And it was HARD.

Those first six months tested me in ways I never expected. But we kept going.

One year came.

Then two.

Then three.

I breastfed her throughout my entire pregnancy with her little brother, and now I tandem nurse them both.

These babies have taught me more about endurance, pain, strength, patience, and love than I ever thought possible.

And this community has taught me something too. Support for breastfeeding moms IS out there. Sometimes we just have to find our village. We have each other to lean on when things get hard, when we're questioning ourselves, and when we need someone to remind us why we started.

I support breastfeeding.
I support tandem breastfeeding.
I support full term breastfeeding.
And most of all, I support moms having the support they need to reach THEIR breastfeeding goals.

I'm so grateful I got to share this quiet, beautiful moment with my rainbow baby before I walked down the aisle to marry her daddy.

I hope another young mom who feels lost or discouraged in her journey sees this and realizes she isn't alone. ❤️

This 2026 analysis of growth data into adolescence from 613 children found that ≥3 months of exclusive breastfeeding delays puberty onset.
