July is a slower month for me, always has been since I started in the hair industry however many years ago (we won’t count), and today (the first wedding after a couple of weekends off), I woke up SO excited to go to “work”.
It’s a tough industry sometimes in that there’s a lot of pressure, mounting expectations, a requirement of adaptability, etc, but MAN. The vendor friendships I’ve made over the years, the brides’ reactions when they love their hair, working in the most beautiful places, the contagious energy being surrounded by people who love each other - There’s just nothing like it, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. 🤍
Who knew 12:08am made me so sappy?! 😆

I’ve been white-knuckling over here orchestrating a home sale + move + getting settled with a VERY active toddler while my hubby was in a rigorous training course for his job (because, hello, why would that not fall on the same time we close?), so my response time has ✨VARIED✨. (If you know me in real life, you just read that in my voice, didn’t you? 😆)
I wanted to say THANK YOU (from the bottom of my heart) to everyone who has been patient with me! Rest assured, I’m still here, still creating great hair on the most incredible brides - I just might have to unearth my phone from a pile of boxes here and there. 🤷🏼♀️
We’ll be back to regularly scheduled programming soon, but until then, this is your friendly reminder:

CONGRATULATIONS, Devin! 🥂 I know things weren’t *quite* what you expected, but I hope it was still your perfect start to forever! You looked STUNNING, your girls were a blast to spend the morning with, and us getting a random vendor hang out the night before was just icing on the cake. 😆 Wishing you guys the absolute best! 🤍
