When you get on my table, you’re trusting me with more than tight muscles.

You’re trusting me to listen. To respect your boundaries. To recognize when something needs a different approach or the attention of another professional.

My massage license is part of that trust. It means there are standards behind my work and a licensing board that can hold me accountable for how I practice.

It also means understanding the boundaries of my role. I don’t diagnose, prescribe, or treat disease. I work with soft tissue, movement, and body awareness, helping you explore what feels supportive and what may be contributing to the tension you carry.

Over the years, my work has grown beyond focusing on where something hurts.

I’m also interested in how you experience your body. Do you notice yourself holding your breath? Bracing before I touch an area? Pushing through discomfort because you think that’s what it takes to feel better?

Those moments give us something to listen to.

Sometimes we adjust the pressure. Sometimes we slow down, change position, or pause. Sometimes we bring in gentle breath or movement so you can participate in what’s happening and notice the difference for yourself.

You don’t have to endure a session to get something from it. You can ask for more, ask for less, change your mind, or say that something doesn’t feel right. Your feedback helps guide the work.

That’s what I mean when I say, “Your body needs safety, not fixing.”

I want you to leave with more than temporary relief. I want you to have a little more understanding of your body, more confidence in what you notice, and more ways to support yourself beyond the table.

Alarm goes off...

Client: "I'm so sorry, you can just turn that off."

Me: Looking at the phone and notice it's an alarm. It says
"Gratitude" I look at the client and say "this is your gratitude reminder"

Client: "I need to remember to turn that one off for Wednesdays" 😍

When people hear "yoga," they often picture difficult poses or being flexible.

That's never been what draws me to it.

What excites me is helping people. Especially kids and parents discover simple ways to understand what their bodies are already trying to tell them.

Sometimes we need to shake.
Sometimes we need to take a deep breath.
Sometimes we just need permission to laugh and move.

That's why I'm so excited to partner with The Treehouse. They're creating a place where families can gather, connect, and build a healthier community together.

This Thursday isn't about doing yoga perfectly. Any regular yogi might even question my technique!
