Grandpa, what was 2026 like?

It is seriously surprising that after being here for 12 years running 70,000 floats for over 30,00 first timers, there are still so many people who either have the wrong idea about what floating is or have never heard of it at all.

Maybe it’s not so surprising because floating has been portrayed in the media in kind of a weird light. From altered states and daredevil to that infamous Simpsons episode, Float tanks have always been portrayed as small enclosed spaces that could create claustrophobia.

This is probably because the first Float tanks were incredibly utilitarian. The technology and budgets didn’t exist to create spa like conditions, and people judge it as scary from the look alone, despite the euphoric feeling that is possible when you remove the majority of input that is bothering your central nervous system every day.

If you’re curious about what it feels like to be effortlessly supported in zero gravity, and to know the relief that comes when you remove the need for your brain to process light, sound, gravity, and temperature differential, we would love to introduce you to floating in our space which has been designed from the ground up to remove the pieces of resistance between you and the deepest relaxation you may have ever felt. No, your mind won’t torture you. It is grateful for the opportunity to rest, and not have to respond to all the information you need to process all day every day.
