This patient has the long term cutaneous side effects from radiation therapy (chronic radiation dermatitis ) for neck cancer many years ago. Chronic radiation dermatitis results in dilated blood vessels (telangiectasias) and skin atrophy. The telangiectasias will be eliminated in a single Vbeam laser treatment. The cutaneous atrophy will be significantly improved with fractionated laser resurfacing.
