Courtney is a Business Teacher at a local high school and serves as the school’s ISTEP advisor (Iowa Students for To***co Education and Prevention). She is also the co-advisor for Student Council and the BPA (Business Professionals of America) advisor.

When she’s not working, Courtney loves spending time with family, playing games, singing, playing the flute, and enjoying the occasional getaway with Nolan.

Last week Courtney was feeling a little under the weather with some respiratory congestion. Since today is National Nothing to Fear Day, we figured it was the perfect time to introduce the bravest member of our crew… Lillian!

Lillian is our 13-year-old daughter and a true performer at heart. She plays the saxophone, loves anything and everything music related, and is always singing, practicing for a performance, or stepping on stage for a play or musical.

When it comes to things most people would find scary, Lillian laughs in the face of fear. Haunted houses? No problem. Stage fright? Never heard of it. Whatever challenge comes her way, she faces it with confidence and courage.

She also has a creative side and loves making beautiful crafts and artistic creations.

Since today is National Paper Airplane Day, we figured it was the perfect time to introduce one of the biggest airplane experts we know… Porter!

Porter is our 11-year-old son with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. He plays the tuba, loves building paper airplanes, and is always ready with a dad joke that will either make you laugh… or groan. 😆

He has never met a stranger and can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. When he’s not folding airplanes or making people smile, you’ll probably find him adding to his collection of Pokémon, baseball, basketball, or football cards.
