Hey friends — I have a few things to share and I want to be completely transparent with you, because that's just how we do things around here.

Issaquah: Wednesdays & Thursdays

I'm now in Issaquah Wednesdays and Thursdays only. A little context on those two days, because they're not quite the same:

Thursdays are fully solo — just you and me, one on one, no one else in the space. That's the energy I love and the experience I want to protect, so I'd really appreciate it if Thursdays don't get overloaded. If you have flexibility, spreading across both days helps me take care of everyone the right way.

Wednesdays are mostly the same — I'm solo for the majority of the day, though the salon owner is there for roughly 2 to 4 hours in the morning. Still a great day to come in, just a heads up so there are no surprises.

Now — and I mean this from the heart — if you were one of the people who reached out during my first week at Troy's and let me know you'd be happy to start booking in Maple Valley to make things easier on me, I heard you, I remember you, and I am so grateful. You said it would be no problem, that you wanted to help, and that a quieter one-on-one space sounded like exactly what you were hoping to get back to anyway. If that's still true for you, now is the perfect time to make that switch.

Maple Valley: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays & one Saturday a month

Maple Valley is where I'm spending most of my week — Mondays, Fridays, and one Saturday a month, and now Tuesdays are officially added to the lineup. More days, more availability, more good hair days.

And for those of you who loved our six years together in the brick building — it's a quiet, one-chair studio again. Just like what we had. Yes, there's parking. But more than that, it's that same private, one-on-one energy you've always known with me. No chaos, no crowd. Just us.

If you have any flexibility at all — whether you're a longtime Issaquah client or brand new — I'd love to see you there. I'm always welcoming new clients at both locations, so please share my name with anyone looking for a stylist.

A note on booking: I've been getting a few messages about August filling up. I want to be honest — being booked out more than two weeks isn't actually the goal. I want you to be able to get in when you need to. If you're flexible on location, Maple Valley will almost always have more availability. Book there if you can.

A note on pricing — I owe you an explanation

You may notice some prices shifting slightly in the near future. Here's the honest reason: I've been absorbing an average of $3.50 per transaction in credit card processing fees — sometimes more — and I simply can't continue to do that. It's not sustainable for a small business.

So if a service that was $90.00 becomes $93.00, that's why. I'm not making more — I'm just no longer absorbing the cost of every swipe. I appreciate your understanding more than you know.

I'm leaving town. But first — let's get you in.

Every year I pack up and head to Good Guys PNW — a classic car and hot rod show where people roll in from Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Missouri and everywhere in between, and we camp Thursday through Sunday like it's 1957. It's my favorite weekend of the year and I am not missing it.

More Maple Valley Availability Starting July! 🤍

I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!Believe it or not, July booking is already well underway, and I have some exciting news to share regarding my upcoming schedule.
Lately, many of you have shared how much you love the quiet, private one-on-one studio experience we always enjoyed before my move to the salon. I’ve also had several clients ask if offering more days closer to home would make things easier or more convenient.

I’m always looking for ways to give you the absolute best experience possible, so I’m thrilled to share that starting in July, I am expanding my hours at my Maple Valley home salon to include **Tuesdays**!
Here is what my updated weekly schedule will look like moving forward:

Maple Valley (Private Home Studio): Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and one Saturday per month.

Issaquah Salon:
Wednesdays and Thursdays.

If a private, one-on-one studio vibe is your preference, or if Maple Valley is simply a more convenient location for your schedule, now is the perfect time to grab those Tuesday spots for July and beyond.
