Your eyes work hard. Give them a little love.

If you spend your day staring at a computer screen, your eyes are doing a LOT of work. Squinting, focusing, blinking less, and staring at the same distance can leave them tired, dry, strained, or just plain over it by the end of the day.

Try the 20/20/20 rule:

Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds.

That little pause gives your eyes a chance to relax and refocus. And honestly, it’s a pretty good excuse to look out the window instead of at another email.

Here’s another reason to give your screen time some thought: blue light can signal to your brain that it’s daytime, which is why scrolling before bed may make it harder to fall asleep. Blue light can also generate free radicals in the skin, contributing to oxidative stress.
