Dermaplaning is probably one of my most popular services! It removes build up dead skin and peach fuzz to reveal fresh, baby smooth skin. It can be done alone or added to most other treatments!

I am always preaching that prevention is cheaper and easier than correction and this lady was the poster board for that statement! 🀯πŸ”₯πŸ‘

If you have booked a slot with me, my brain is yours to pick! πŸ’œ I have done skin analysis during waxing and answered waxing questions during facials more times than I can count. It always surprises me when someone is hesitant because that's not the service they booked. We are not gatekeeping over here, ask away! 🫢

Just an estie and her camera roll 😜
If you've gotten a Hydrafacial from me, you know I am truly obsessed with showing you the jar! I call it my insurance to the treatment. πŸ’… I can tell you all day about the deep cleanse, exfoliation, and extractions you are receiving, but when you get these kinds of receipts- it becomes truly known that you are getting what you paid for!
Painless extractions just got even better with the newest product launch! Ask me about it the next time you see me. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ

Last week’s HydraFacial seminar was a ton of fun! It was a energizing day full of cool information, fun new launches, and collaboration. ✨️

I can't wait to share the fun news about the upcoming ways we can continue to personalize your Hydrafacial treatments! πŸ’œπŸ˜Š

Just a few things about me that might show if I am your vibe or not πŸ’œ The amazing thing about this industry is that I get to spend every day talking to amazing people with all different backgrounds. I love learning from each and everyone of you. That being said, if you are super into TikTok and the ever-changing trends, I might be boring as all get out to you. πŸ˜‚πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ It's not that I am not interested, it's just that I am waiting for the clinical data so that I can confidently make recommendations. People are dropping big money on treatments and products these days. I want to be ethical and responsible with your hard earned cash and only recommend the things I think will actually make a difference in your skin. 🫢

Actually getting started with regularly using the skincare products and implementing a routine is the part that trips up most people. I think the most important things are to keep the routine (atleast in the beginning) incredibly simple and then to apply some type of strategy that feels good to you and your daily routine but also reminds you to actually use said products. This can be as simple as keeping your products out on the counter so you can remember to use them, tying the routine to another daily habit such as brushing your teeth, or even having a neon sticky note on the bathroom mirror bullying you to do your skincare. πŸ˜‚ Whatever it is, it needs to resonate with you and how you do things in your day to day. We are building a habit here, not trying to reinvent our whole daily routines. πŸ’œ

The fun stuff doesn't work if you don't do the basics. A basic skincare routine can literally be a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. You are already ahead of the game if this is all that you do. Removing the days buildup, replenishing the skin afterwards, and proper sun protection & spf will set you up for success everytime. Then once you are comfortable and that feels like 2nd nature, we can add in more targeted products and treatments.

I am loving these before and after pictures!

My amazing client and I are currently working through a Tretinoin purge. If you didn't know, Tretinoin is a prescription strength vitamin A derivative that you apply topically. It helps accelerate skin cell renewal and is primarily used to treat acne, reduce fine lines, and fade dark spots. It's considered the "gold standard" to treat these conditions because of the extensive research that's been done as well as the clinical evidence to support it.

When you start to apply Tret and your cell turnover rate increases, it brings up all the underlying congestion that is sitting under the surface. This leads to more breakouts and blackheads forming, hence the term "purging". This stage is different for everyone but can last up to 90 days. The reason it's such a long time period is because of the fact that it can take up to 90 days for a full cycle of cellular renewal.

This is where treatments can really come into play. You do have to take a short break on your Tretinoin before & after a professional treatment, but I think the benefits are well worth it. When you come in and work with an esthetician, we can provide treatments and advice to help guide you along and make the process so much smoother and usually get you there faster too. You don't have to second guess what is normal or what is working. You just trust the process and see the results! πŸ’œβœ¨οΈ
