Regional Planning Affiliation 8 (RPA 8) is updating its Long Range Transportation Plan, which will look ahead to 2050 and help guide future transportation improvements throughout our region.

Your feedback is important! Survey responses help planners better understand local transportation needs, identify community priorities, and help match State and Federal funding with future projects.

Things are getting a little creepy at the Manchester Public Library. 👀🕷️

Teens ages 12–18 are invited to Creepy Clay Crafting on Wednesday, October 14 from 2–3 p.m. Create your own spooky creature using air-dry clay, fake teeth, eyes and other fun materials. The stranger the proportions, the better. 😆

All supplies are provided, so just bring your creativity and your best creepy ideas.

🍁 Fall Leaf Pick-Up Schedule 🍁

Fall leaf pick-up will begin on Monday, October 19.

Please refer to the map for your section and scheduled pick-up dates.

Section 1, Mondays: October 19, 26 and November 2, 9, 16

Section 2, Tuesdays: October 20, 27 and November 3, 10, 17

Section 3, Wednesdays: October 21, 28 and November 4, 18

🍂 The City will be closed Wednesday, November 11 for Veterans Day. Section 3 leaf pick-up will take place Friday, November 13 instead.

Section 4, Thursdays: October 22, 29 and November 5, 12, 19

Leaves may be placed in the street 48 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up day.

Those in violation of the 48-hour rule may be fined.

Leaves must be in the street before 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled day.

Rake leaves into windrows on the street, 2 feet away from the curb line.

Vehicles must not be parked within 50 feet of windrows.

No bags or containers. Leaves only.

This pick-up is for leaves only. Sticks, twigs, brush, or garden debris must be taken to the compost site.

Crews may work ahead of schedule.

The City of Manchester’s brush dump on South Brewer Street is available for city residents to drop off branches, sticks, and other yard debris.

Leaf pickup will begin soon, but until then, please take advantage of the brush dump.
