As much as I LOVE seeing all your faces, please remember that if you’re feeling sick, have a fever, a new or worsening cough, or aren’t feeling like yourself, **please reschedule your appointment!** 🫶🏼

As a lash & nail artist, I work in close contact with you for extended periods of time, and I want to keep both myself and all of my clients as healthy as possible!

✨ A few friendly reminders:
• Please give me a heads-up if you’re feeling under the weather.
• Don’t feel bad about rescheduling when you’re sick!
• Let’s avoid spreading germs to other clients and their families.
• Please respect my sick policy just as I respect your time and health!

I know rescheduling can be inconvenient, especially when appointments are booked out, but I promise your health (and mine!) is more important than a set of lashes or a fresh mani. 🥹💗

✅ FACT: When applied correctly with proper isolation and the right weight/length, extensions should not damage your natural lashes.

❌ MYTH: You don’t need to clean your lash extensions.
✅ FACT: CLEAN LASHES = HAPPY LASHES! 🫧 Regular cleansing helps remove oil, makeup, sweat, and buildup that can affect retention.

❌ MYTH: The longer and fuller, the better!
✅ FACT: Your natural lashes determine what lengths, thicknesses, and styles are appropriate. More isn’t always better!

❌ MYTH: Picking or pulling off extensions is harmless.
✅ FACT: Please don’t! 🙅‍♀️ Pulling extensions can remove your natural lashes along with them.

❌ MYTH: You have to take long breaks from lash extensions.
✅ FACT: With proper application, appropriate lash weights, and good aftercare, you can safely maintain extensions with regular fills.

❌ MYTH: Poor retention is always your lash artist’s fault.
✅ FACT: Retention can be affected by aftercare, natural lash cycles, oils, products, hormones, sleeping habits, and even lifestyle.

Good retention isn’t just about the lash artist — **your aftercare makes a HUGE difference!** 🤍

🫧 **CLEAN YOUR LASHES DAILY**
Use a lash-extension-safe cleanser to remove oil, makeup, sweat & buildup. Clean lashes = better retention!

💦 **KEEP THEM CLEAN + DRY**
Don’t be afraid of water! Properly cleansed extensions can get wet. Just gently pat them dry afterward.

🚫 **AVOID OILY PRODUCTS**
Keep oils, heavy creams, and oil-based makeup removers away from your lash line.

🛏️ **BE MINDFUL OF HOW YOU SLEEP**
Sleeping directly on your lashes can cause extra shedding and one-sided retention. A **silk pillowcase or sleep mask** can help!

🙅‍♀️ **DON’T PICK, PULL OR RUB**
Your natural lashes have a growth cycle. Pulling at extensions can damage your natural lashes and cause premature shedding.

🪮 **BRUSH GENTLY**
Use a clean spoolie to brush your lashes once they’re dry and keep them looking fluffy and neat.

📅 **STAY ON YOUR FILL SCHEDULE**
For the best fullness, book your fills before your lashes become too grown out. If you’re consistently losing lashes before your next appointment, **2-week fills may be a better option.**

✨ **REMEMBER:** Some shedding is completely normal! Your extensions shed along with your natural lashes. But proper aftercare can make a BIG difference in how long your set stays full.
