🚧 Heads up, Manassas drivers! Beginning today, July 13, through August 14, motorists can expect road closures and intermittent delays at the intersection of Godwin Drive and Nokesville Road due to VDOT culvert work.

🚧 : The railroad crossing arms at Main Street, Battle Street, and West Street are currently not functioning properly. As a result, these streets are closed until repairs can be completed by Norfolk Southern . Expect delays along Center and Prince William Streets in Downtown Manassas as crews work to restore full functionalit. We will provide updates to this feed as they become available.

Due to continued below-average temperatures and ongoing challenges for drivers on residential streets, City of Manassas contractors will return to assist with residential street snow removal beginning Friday, February 6.

Work will take place on weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

To help crews perform this work efficiently, residents are asked to remove vehicles parked along roadways whenever possible.

Snow removed from streets will be placed in any available areas. Every effort will be made to avoid pushing snow onto yards and sidewalks; however, in some locations there may be no alternative.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued patience as cleanup efforts continue.

Some streets in Historic Downtown will close overnight on Sunday, February 1 and Monday, February 2, for street maintenance. Closures will last from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. both nights. Thank you for your patience as we improve the roads.

The city is doing extensive snow/ice removal this Sunday and Monday February 1st and 2nd. From 6:00pm to 6:00am. We will have to close early on Monday to accommodate this.
