After more than 30 years as a professional makeup artist, there’s one thing I always tell my brides: your wedding photos are forever—your makeup should be timeless.

Here are my 3 Bridal Beauty Rules for looking absolutely gorgeous on your wedding day:

1. DON’T CHASE CRAZY TRENDS
Trends come and go, but beautiful never goes out of style. Your wedding day is not the day to experiment with an extreme makeup trend you may regret five years from now.

I love a classic soft glam—beautiful skin, softly defined eyes, flattering color and just enough glamour to make you feel extra special. You should still look like you… just the most beautiful version of you.

2. ALWAYS CHOOSE PHOTO-READY MAKEUP
Wedding makeup has to look beautiful in person and through the camera lens.

Choose high-quality, natural-looking lashes that enhance your eyes instead of overpowering them. The goal is soft, fluttery and elegant—not lashes that enter the room before you do!
