605 Therapeutic Massage
Licensed massage therapists providing personalized, therapeutic care in Madison, SD. Focused on restoring balance and supporting long-term wellness.
We’re a passionate team of massage therapists whose journey began in Sioux Falls, SD, where Lexi was raised. I ventured to Los Angeles, CA, and recently moved back home to South Dakota. It was in California, at the National Holistic Institute in 2023, where I met Edgar. Together, we share a dedication to wellness and the art of massage. After completing the 800-hour foundational program, we further honed our skills by enrolling in an advanced neuromuscular massage class, which added another 450 hours to our education. Edgar also excelled as a teaching assistant at the school. We gained hands-on experience in California, passed the MBLEx exam, and are now licensed in South Dakota. Motivated by our passion for massage therapy and a desire to give back to our community, we decided to return to Madison, SD, to open our own business and offer our services to the area. On our own time, we enjoy exploring nature through hiking and camping. This past summer, we explored numerous National Parks and Edgar enjoyed visiting the Black Hills for the first time. We’re thrilled to bring our expertise, skills, and commitment to wellness to Madison and beyond. We look forward to helping you feel your best!
Alright, which one hit a little too close to home?

Happy Monday! A little reminder for your week ahead 😎🌿
Hellloooo!!!
We only have one appointment left for July (July 29th at 3:30 or 4:00 PM)
A few reminders:
🌿 We are by appointment only, so we aren't able to take same-day appointments right now.
🌿 Our online booking calendar is always the most up-to-date way to see what's available. It's also our preferred way to book.
🌿 If we miss your call, we're probably in a massage, so please leave us a voicemail, email or send us a text. If we don't get either one, we usually assume it was spam and won't return the call. If you’re looking for an appointment, please check the website😎
🌿 We're also working on adding a waitlist! We're still figuring everything out, but we're hoping to have it available soon.
Thank you guys again for supporting our small business. It means a lot to Edgar and me, and we can't wait to see everyone at their next appointment!

We are updating our cancellation and no show policy. This helps us protect our time, support our small business, and continue providing the calm and nourishing experience you know and love. By giving us as much notice as possible, you may also be giving another client the opportunity to receive an appointment they may have been waiting for. You can also find this on our website when booking. Thank you for all of your support! 😎🤍
Nothing better than seeing your happy, slightly smushed faces after a massage 🥰
No one talks about the connection between the abdominals and the low back in massage… so we will 😎
Most people think abs are just for aesthetics☺️.Your abdominal muscles: re**us abdominis, obliques, and transverse abdominis are a major support system for your lumbar spine.
They help you bend, rotate, and side bend, more importantly, they stabilize your trunk when you’re standing, walking, lifting, or even just sitting.
When these muscles develop trigger points, they don’t just cause stomach discomfort.
They can:
* Refer pain into the low back and SI joints
* Mimic digestive or pelvic symptoms like bloating, fullness, or cramping
* Contribute to poor motor control in the deep core
* Be aggravated by stress, posture, repetitive overload, or heavy lifting
Trigger points in the lower re**us abdominis can refer pain into the low back and sacroiliac region.
Trigger points in the upper re**us abdominis can refer pain into the mid back.
Here’s what you can do:
* Use lumbar support when sitting and lean back. Try not to hover or slouch
* Practice deep belly breathing instead of shallow chest breathing
* Move and stretch 🕺💃
* Laugh more, it’s a healthy abdominal contraction!
When trigger points in the abdominal muscles are reduced, the core can function more efficiently, which may help with posture, daily movement, and exercise performance.
Btw a trigger point is a knot in a tight muscle that is painful with compression or stretching. It responds with a referred pain that is perceived distant from where it is being compressed.
