What a roller coaster of a few days it’s been 😩 Mia threw up for several days and stopped eating and drinking. Rushed her to the vet and after testing, they weren’t 100% sure what was going on so they gave her fluids and I took her home to try a few things the vet suggested that night and worried over her all night. Took her back this morning and the scans showed a blockage. She went into surgery right away and she pulled through and is okay and home now. She apparently ate a WHOLE ACORN and it got lodged in her intestine. 🤦♀️ Of course this is all happening when Anthony and Maya are in NYC for her bday, and Keeks is gone at band all day every day 🤣 This mama is exhausted but now it’s recovery mode for 2 weeks for Mia. Please pray for Keeks too…Mia is her buddy and she’s SO upset 😭 Praising God we didn’t lose our Mia! 🐾

We finally got to celebrate Maya’s 18th birthday (we had to postpone due to wisdom teeth surgery). We had a great dinner and shopping and she just got news that she got a job! So proud of her! 🎉🎉🎉 Her and Anthony leave for NYC this week to see Hamilton! 🎵🎤

The makeup took ten minutes. Giving myself permission to take those ten minutes has taken much longer. I’m learning that caring for the life God gave me includes caring for myself 💕
