You know, one thing I love is getting clients who are understanding when you voice that there is something you'd like to change on their hair even after you literally just finished it.

This particular time, I had Hallie come in today after doing her color yesterday because I felt that it was missing brightness in the back section and I wanted to even it out by adding more.

So we proceeded to add a couple of foils in the back crown of her head and I took this opportunity to see if she'd want to deepen the copper tone she had.

I had originally toned her with 9-7 in Igora Vibrance but for some reason it just wasn't as intense as I wanted. So I decided to use Matrix Super Sync 8CG and that was a smidge better but still had room for improvement.

So I just decided today after we agreed to make it more intense that I'd just tone her with Pravana Chromasilk 8CG & a little of 7CG and when I tell you it was just the perfect amount of copper for her olive skin tone!!

Moral of the story is, don't be afraid to voice when your work didn't come out the way you had planned. Although Hallie loved it, I felt that it could be better so I took that opportunity to say something.

Now it's vibrant and the way I envisioned 🥹✨
