Life is a little bit of a juggling act these days. 🏀🎷💙✂️ Between basketball, marching band, FFA, boosters, mom life, and running my salon, my calendar is filling up FAST!

If you know you’re going to need an appointment, please try to schedule in advance so I can make sure I have a spot for you. My normal business hours will still be available, but with games, competitions, meetings, and all the other things popping onto the calendar, availability may shift from week to week.

Need an appointment outside of my normal business hours? Reach out! I’m happy to accommodate earlier, later, or alternate times when my schedule allows.

9/11/2001.
I was finishing up beauty school and taking baby boards that morning. The news came across the radio that one of the twin towers had been hit by an airplane. For 17 minutes, we as Americans believed it was just an accident. We pondered “how” a plane could have accidentally hit a skyscraper. Then the second plane hit and we knew it wasn’t an accident, we were under attack. Our test was cancelled and we were all allowed to go home and be with our families. I was 20 and just at the mere beginnings of my career. The next days, weeks and months were filled with pride and community and love of this great nation. We were terrified, grieving and uncertain of our futures, but we came together as Americans.

Today, 25 years later, I would love our country to come together and remember the feeling we had on those days after. We have become so divided as a nation. We have stopped listening to each other. We lack empathy for our fellow man. We are quick to judge and slow to forgive. Everyone thinks their beliefs are “right” and everyone else is “wrong”. Let’s get back to loving our fellow humans and recognizing that we are all imperfectly perfect. Spread kindness instead of hate. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
