10 weeks out from competition and officially into the fun shuff. 😈🏋️‍♀️

Heavy sets of 5 today and feeling STRONG.

Super pumped to be training with my new coach Eric and to see what we can do over these next 10 weeks.

But really, the biggest accomplishment here is that my kids can officially say:

“My mom lifts heavier than your dad.”

One of my favorite parts of being a hairstylist has nothing to do with hair.

It’s the conversations.

Every day someone sits in my chair and lets me see the world through their eyes. Different careers, different backgrounds, different struggles, different wins. Some conversations make me laugh, some make me think, and some stay with me long after they leave.

I don’t think we talk enough about how much we learn from each other.

In a world that’s becoming more automated, more filtered, and more disconnected, I’m grateful my job still revolves around real people. Real stories. Real conversations.

And honestly… that’s something I hope we never lose.

Heavy days are still my favorite.

Today I had two missed lifts... because that’s part of the process. Progress isn’t just about the lifts you make, it’s about showing up, taking the attempts, learning from them, and coming back stronger.

I’m excited to be working with my new coach, Erik Fagnant , and even more excited for this next block of training as we start dialing things in for my competition in October.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about chasing progress one lift at a time. Let’s get to work.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I love doing perms.

Do they stress me out a little? Absolutely.

But there’s something so satisfying about creating texture and movement in hair that naturally falls flat or straight. With summer around the corner, a scrunch-and-go routine, beachy texture, and effortless volume are exactly what I’m here for.

If you’ve been thinking about adding some texture to your hair and cutting down on styling time, this might be your sign.

This was the lift I used to dread. The one that got inside my head. But I kept grinding, and now my clean and jerks are getting smoother, stronger, and way more consistent.

Behind this successful woman is a really supportive man… probably holding a baby, answering a text, or fixing something while she’s out here chasing it.

I joke about it, but honestly? I couldn’t do half of what I do without mine. He keeps things moving so I can keep showing up. Love you babe.
