The Perfumers Studio is a new resource for the creative perfumer based in Los Angeles, California. In addition to raising awareness and appreciation of the art of perfumery among the general public, the studio offers classes and workshops aimed at developing the perfumer’s art while also supplying the tools and materials needed by both professional and hobbyist perfumers.

Perfume Making 101: An In-Person, Hands-On Workshop
Spend an evening at Cafe Tropical in Silver Lake creating your own signature scent. This two-hour, hands-on workshop is open to all experience levels, no prior background required.
We’ll open with a guided introduction to the major fragrance families, the principles behind how perfumes are categorized, and what gives a composition lasting impact. Before you begin blending, you’ll learn the fundamentals of fragrance design, how to work safely with aroma materials, and how to choose notes that reflect your personal style.
With over 160 mixed-media fragrance bases to draw from, you’ll formulate and bottle a 30ml (1 oz) perfume of your own to take home. All materials are included.
