There’s something timeless about a perfectly tailored chin-length bob.
This week alone, I had the pleasure of creating three of these cheekbone-defining shapes, and every single one reminded me why precision cutting will always be one of my favorite services.
These cuts may look effortless, but the magic is in the details. I schedule two full hours for each appointment because every line, angle, and internal layer matters. The goal isn’t just how it looks when you leave the salon—it’s how it looks when you style it at home.
I check the shape repeatedly throughout the service, refining and rebalancing until the silhouette feels seamless from every angle. Often, that means carefully removing bulk through internal layering so the hair moves beautifully without sacrificing the strength of the shape.
The best part? This client uses no hot tools and no styling products. Just a beautifully crafted haircut that falls into place naturally. A quick refresh every eight weeks keeps the shape sharp, polished, and intentional.

6 hours of detailed foils to soften and blend out previous red and copper tones while allowing her natural grey hairs to begin growing in organically around the face with as little demarcation as possible.
The goal was not harsh coverage or a solid root color - but a sotter, diffused transition that feels natural, bright, and effortless as her grey grows in over time. Every foil was intentionally placed to create delicate dimension and mimic the vertical movement and ribboning of natural highlights throughout the hair.
We finished with a healthy haircut to keep the hair feeling strong, reflective, and full of movement. The result is golden, healthy hair with softness, light, and a much more seamless grow-out journey ahead.
The end result feels softer, lower maintenance, and far more natural than a solid root retouch - and it will continue to grow out beautifully appointment after appointment.
Honestly one of my favorite kinds of transformations: thoughtful, customized color work that works with the hair instead of fighting against it.
