During the day leading up to the show, we were able to get a highlight color refresh in! Should I post a deeper look into her color and Redken color formula soon?

Also, fun fact this venue was where I saw my first concert ever. Can you guess who I saw? 👀

Olivia Wilde’s perfect film THE INVITE is released today 🎞️

Story time - I was honored to color Olivia’s hair before the filming of this movie and we really wanted to focus on the contrast of her tones for how it picked up on camera. At the end of the last color session, Olivia was telling me about her character, Angela, and some of characteristics and quirks and what would I think her hair should be based on them. I lived and worked in San Francisco and one of the looks I remember most from this region was the crown braid.

But to modernize it we created this quickie, looks self done, ROPE double braid.

Almost a year later, for a FENDI event we recreated and gave a nod to Angela!
