“I was inspired by her dress and wanted to continue that theme of intentional undoneness with a renaissance feel. I kept her skin quite clean and smoked her eyes in a wash of blue to mimic a soft-focus painting. not wanting to go too romantic I opted for a deeper lip, with soft edges so it looked a bit imperfect. the finished look feels like: soft skin, faded pastel eyes, sun-warmed sculpting, and a rich blurred lip- romantic but undone” -
