Helping someone with their hair usually isn’t a one-and-done. Sometimes it’s several appointments and a process that can take over a year or more 🥲

This one is a fave because we helped Cat with her hair just days before her wedding. We saw her over a period of a year and a half after the initial appointment when we flew her out to Vegas from Boston. With the right team and the right products almost anything is possible 🙏

“HAIR SAVES” The Series Episode 1: Steph’s DIY Bleach Gone Wrong 🙏

There’s been a lot of questions about the “hair saves” and how they work. People ask “What happens after they leave? How will they maintain it?” Others wonder why we help them in the first place?

I’ve never done a full series showing that this is a process that sometimes spans years. Yes, it would be easier to cut all their hair off. There will be 16 episodes and in some we do. But the goal of these is to rebuild these incredible women’s self confidence and to spread more kindness on social media. We don’t always hit a home run, but I will tell you we’ve built some incredible relationships and have succeeded much more than we have missed the mark.

Steph was a young lady who had been through a lot and tried to remove dark brown dye with color remover and then bleach. Almost 80 percent of her hair broke off and she was devastated. We’ve been working with Steph for over 3 years now and she’s built a life and is a young woman hoping to be a hairstylist one day 🥹

I hope you enjoy this series. I’ll show the entire hair journey for each client this time so you better understand that we see it through as much as possible.

“Labubu Silver Blonde” Lob Haircut 💇‍♀️

This client came to us over a year and a half ago with a severe chemical cut! She finally was ready to give the hair extensions a rest and came to the salon with an interesting request. She brought a silver Labubu as hair color inspo.

We used all Oligo Professionnel with their Blacklight Blonde Science line to lighten and hydrate the hair, with their HYD for hydrating which was essential for this hair transformation. When skin care and super foods meet up… it’s a match made in heaven!

Balayage & S**g on Curly Hair: “CURLYAGE”

We loved creating this sun-kissed blonde and creating a shape to accentuate these stunning curls on our guest 🥲

Balayage is a French word and it means to sweep. It’s the first blinding technique that I was taught over 30 years ago.

Today people interchange this word for a few different techniques, but try not to get too hung up on technique names. It’s up to the stylist to decide which technique or method is best to get you to your desired results.

And wear gloves.

Not everything has to be an 6-hour hair transformation. This client said as long as we kept her hair long we could do anything that we wanted.

Of course platinum card sounds fun 😉, but I chose to deepen her red and to accentuate her strawberry blonde pieces. For the haircut Philip did long layers and beautiful soft bangs or fringe depending on where you live!
