At the St. Martin Villa, the outdoor spaces are designed as rooms within the landscape. A deep overhang provides shade above the terrace, while the sunken fire lounge creates an intimate place to gather beside the infinity pool. Beyond, uninterrupted views extend across the tropical hillside toward the Caribbean. Architecture shaped around shade, water, and the rhythm of island living.

Blue hour at the Stanley Residence. The architecture steps down the hillside, creating a series of terraces for dining, gathering, and relaxing above the city. Deep overhangs provide shelter, integrated lighting defines the house’s horizontal lines, and the infinity pool carries the view toward the Los Angeles skyline. A home designed around the changing light and the landscape below.

At the Makana Residence, the pool is conceived as an extension of the home rather than a separate destination. A broad, curved canopy creates a shaded outdoor room for gathering, dining, and relaxing beside the water. Cascading greenery softens the roofline, while mature trees rise through the architecture and bring the surrounding landscape into everyday life.
Designed for long days lived between shade, water, and garden.

A living space shaped by height, light, and connection. The double-height room is anchored by a sculptural metal fireplace, while suspended linear lighting draws the eye through the volume. Retractable glass walls extend the interior toward the garden, allowing the room to shift naturally between quiet mornings, everyday living, and larger gatherings.

Arrival at The Murdock Estate in Lānaʻi, Hawaii, is organized around a central courtyard, where stone, water and tropical landscape create a moment of pause before entering the home. The architecture frames a direct view through the interior to the landscape beyond, while deep overhangs, screens and planted walls provide shade and privacy. The result is an arrival that feels open, calm and closely connected to its island setting.

Light, landscape and movement come together at the Stradella Residence. A floating staircase rises beside the double-height stone wall, while an interior courtyard brings an olive tree into the center of the home. From the entry, views extend through the living spaces toward the Los Angeles horizon beyond.

The experience of a home begins before you step inside.
A long, illuminated approach moves through tropical planting, revealing the architecture gradually rather than all at once. At night, integrated lighting traces the path while allowing the landscape, structure and distant city lights to share the view.
Designed around the experience of coming home.

At our Morning Hill Residence, the roof becomes the organizing element.

A continuous timber soffit draws the interior outward, connecting the kitchen, dining area and pool terrace beneath one generous plane. Linear lighting reinforces the architecture as evening arrives, while dark cladding and a restrained material palette keep the spaces calm and connected.
Designed for long dinners, open doors and an easy transition between inside and out.
