NIGHTMARE BLNT ROTATION

It was such a blast getting to create Mara with my partner in crime, life, and makeup! Thank you to Maya for bringing us onto this super fun vision! 💚 The whole team did a kick ass job and the result was stellar, so proud of everyone involved!

Full arm sleeve and male grooming on for Enough by

This was one of my favorite effects of the film, but it had its challenges.
Day one he sits in my chair and the Inkbox applied for the character covered about half of what was needed. Even with a large extra transfer, he only had ink on the outeward facing part of his entire arm, naked and bare inner arm. That would not do.
Once I finished with the beginning rush, I ran home to get my airbrush and stencils to start crafting ways to blend what stencils I had with the design I was given. Luckily only his forearm would be shot first day, so I had a little bit of time to plan out what I wanted. I grew my stencil collection solely to establish the upper arm on day two 🫣
Thankfully, I ended up really loving the end result, and the process was super fun to touch up the art each morning. I wish I got more photos of it myself! Thank you Denise for giving me the time to create it and Adam for sitting like a champ and being patient while testing placements and stencils.

It was such an honor to help create this character, and I'll definitely be doing more tattoo work in the future, maybe with a bit more planning next time haha! 🖤

ENOUGH by is off to festivals!

I was so honored for Denise to have chosen me to execute her vision. When she came to me with her script with the story derived from true events, I had to give my all. It's so much easier to do your best when you're surrounded by amazing people that are talented at what they do. A dream set to be on, truly, couldn't be more thankful! 💕
I'll share a couple of the effects I did for the short over the next couple days, but starting with my first and quickest!

I did some quick and easy pimples on Denise that I ended up loving, along with some tired eyes to show the stress of the character. I only had my on set beauty kit with me (luckily there's 2 mini alcohol palettes in there), but my eyelash glue came to the rescue for raising the pimples!
