🚨 Policy Change 🚨
Hello beauties ❤️ I’ve put this off for a LONG time because i hate having to implement things like this. For over 3 years now, i’ve tried to be as flexible and understanding as possible when it comes to no-shows, same day cancelling/rescheduling, and lateness. I’ve even denied people offering to pay a fee for those reasons.

I truly hope you all understand where i’m coming from, i’ve tried to put this off as long as possible, but i simply can’t anymore ❤️‍🩹 I’m not sure if everyone knows, but this business is my only job, it completely funds itself, and it covers my bills and living expenses at home.

Unfortunately, over the past few months, this has started happening almost daily, and I can no longer absorb the income loss that comes with it.

Last-minute cancellations can turn a fully booked day into one with only one or two clients, while I have people who have been waiting months for an opening. It doesn’t feel fair to have those spots sitting empty when I know there are clients who would gladly take them.

With that being said, the new policy is explained below, if you have ANY questions feel free to ask, i’ll be glad to explain anything further if needed!

THIS ALL CHANGES IF THE WEATHER SUCCKS 🤣🤣 If there’s tornadoes, blizzards, floods, torrential downpours please don’t risk your life for some eyebrows or a Brazilian wax, it ain’t worth it! Especially during the winter i sometimes reach out to reschedule people until it’s safe for both me, and most clients to make it on the roads SAFELY

ALSO if you are a Brazilian client, and start your period, waxing tends to hurt a lot more, just please let me know, i’ll be more flexible on this because i understand completely 😊

⏰ POLICY EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY AUGUST 19th⏰

SAME DAY CANCEL/RESCHEDULE - $20
NO-SHOW - $20
Lateness leading to reschedule (check explanation below)-$20

Why $20?
Whether you have a $20 brow wax or a $100+ body wax appointment, the fee will remain a flat $20. You aren’t paying for the service you missed, the fee is for the appointment time that was reserved for you and can no longer realistically be filled.

The fee will apply regardless of the reason.
Please please PLEASE know, I want to be very clear that this is NOT because I don’t understand that emergencies happen. I absolutely do, and I never want anyone to feel like they need to prove or explain a personal emergency to me, and feel like i am the judge of the severity of said emergency. So to me the fee feels most fair to apply to everyone regardless of reasoning ❤️

For No-Shows, if you simply don’t show up to your appointment, this fee also applies. If you’re not getting the reminders, send your phone number to me and i’ll update it in your file, if your number is the same in the file, i know you’re getting the reminders, you might just have anyone on glossgenius blocked as it all runs through the same system.

To address lateness: if you arrive late enough that I no longer have enough time to complete your appointment, we will need to reschedule. I know things happen, but I also have to be respectful of both the clients scheduled after you, and the Esthi I share a room with. Taking an appointment that is already 15+ minutes behind can easily cause that delay to carry throughout the rest of the day. Many of my clients come during their lunch breaks or have somewhere they need to be immediately after their appointment, and I don’t want someone else’s late arrival to cause them to be late to work, miss their break, or fall behind in their own schedule. There’s also a couple days a week where I have another esthetician who shares her room with me, she comes to work in the evenings after me, so making sure i’m done in enough time for her to set up and start her own schedule is a priority to me.

If you know you won’t be able to make it to your appointment by at latest midnight the day before, please message me to cancel/reschedule.

Fees can be accepted through venmo, apple pay, fb pay, and cash app.

My fridays will now start at 12:30, This is because of a shared schedule between my roomie & I!

If you currently have an appointment on a friday before then booked already, I will be reaching out sometime this weekend to get you a new spot 😁 Feel free to use the link in your texts to reschedule if you’d like!

I’ve decided to leave my books open until THIS SATURDAY!! So that if there’s anyone who’s been creeping my page for a while, or your friend keeps telling you to see me NOW is your time!!
