What you’re putting on your skin matters more than you may realize especially when it comes to your brows! 🤍

Acne medications, retinol/retinoids, tretinoin, exfoliating acids, and certain anti-aging products can make your skin more sensitive and may affect whether it’s safe to perform services like brow waxing, brow lamination, or permanent brows.

And Accutane is a BIG one. 🚨 You absolutely cannot be waxed while taking Accutane. But that doesn’t mean we can’t clean up your brows! We can tweeze instead of wax, so you still have another option without stopping a medication you need.

This is exactly why we ask about your skincare and medications. Please don’t leave anything out because you think it’s “just skincare” we need to know what you’re using so we can protect your skin and choose the safest service for you. 🩷

When in doubt, tell your brow artist everything you’re using on your skin!
