As someone who's been lashing with UV light for over 3 years, I can confidently say this is not a new trend for me.
Three years ago, I made it my mission to find the safest option possible for my clients' eyes, and switching to UV light-cured adhesive was the best decision for my business.
Over the past 3 years, I've experienced less sensitivity, no burning, and incredible retention. I truly love seeing more lash artists making the switch and discovering the benefits for themselves.

1. You're waiting too long to wash your lashes.
Clean lashes = better retention. Oils, makeup, sweat, and dirt break down the adhesive, so washing your lashes daily with a lash-safe cleanser is a must.
2. You're sleeping on your face.
If you're constantly crushing your lashes into your pillow, they'll twist, shed faster, and lose their shape. Try sleeping on your back or using a silk pillowcase.
3. You're waiting too long between fills.
Most clients need a fill every 2–3 weeks. Waiting too long means more natural lashes have shed, making it harder to keep your set looking full.
