This client came in with healthy, dense natural hair that needed some additional moisture and scalp care after wearing extensions.
We focused on restoring moisture with steam therapy, a conditioning scalp treatment, and a thorough assessment of her strands before finishing with a silk press and trim.

Hi, I’m Aletta. I’m a business owner.
I used to be a solo entrepreneur. Now I’m learning how to build a business and a team.
Today I attended the Meant for More conference in Omaha, and one of my biggest takeaways had nothing to do with gaining a new client or making a sale.
It was simply about showing up.
I’m learning that networking isn’t always about an immediate return. Sometimes it’s meeting someone who may never patronize your business but will say your name in a room you’re not in. Sometimes it’s listening. Sometimes it’s sharing your story. And sometimes the win is simply walking into the room.
For a long time, I thought I needed to show up with everything figured out. The perfect answer. The big win. The polished version of entrepreneurship.
I don’t.
I’m 30+ years into this industry and still learning.
I’m learning how to delegate instead of carrying everything myself. How to trust my team to do what they’re good at. How to create boundaries even when everyone doesn’t like them. How to take all these ideas in my head and actually create systems around them.
And maybe most importantly, I’m learning that my journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
There is no perfect path.
I’ve spent a lot of time being the hairstylist who owned a salon. Now I’m learning what it means to lead a business that is becoming bigger than just me.
Salon. Spa. Barbershop. Studio. Community. Education. A team.
That requires a different Aletta.
So this is me reintroducing myself.

I’m a hairstylist. I’m an entrepreneur. I’m a leader. I’m a community builder. I’m still figuring some s**t out.
