Green won! 💚🕸️ Y’all helped me settle the pink-or-green debate, so I remade the spiderweb on my heart-shaped crochet bag from pink to green!

I liked the pink, but this green against the black? Yep, I’m glad I switched. 😂💚 A little extra work, but that’s the beauty of handmade—I can change my mind and my stitches!

Here’s the before and after. What do y’all think? Did we make the right call? 👀

I started September with the goal of sharing a crochet project every day, but I had to stop my challenge early. The honest reason? My mental health needed my attention.

I love crocheting and sharing what I create, but some days I need to give myself room to simply get through the day without another expectation to meet.

Taking care of myself is the biggest challenge I’ve ever undertaken, and it will always take precedence. Even over goals I’m excited about. Even over something I love.

I’ve still been crocheting, though! 🧶 I just needed to take the expectation of posting every day off my plate. Today, I’m sharing a few projects I’ve completed since my last post, and I’m happy to finally show you what’s been on my hook.

Thank you for supporting me and Elle & Elliott, even during the quiet days. 🤎 I’m learning to give myself grace, and I hope you’re giving yourself some, too.

Day 9 of my September Crochet Challenge! 🧶❄️⚡

Today’s project is the Thundersnow Bag—a lined crochet pouch featuring cool shades of blue and gray, lots of fun texture, and a coordinating tassel. I love how the colors give it that perfect mix of stormy skies and icy snow!

It’s cute, practical, and just the right size for keeping all those little essentials together. What would you carry in yours? 💙

🧶 September Crochet Challenge: Day 8 🧶

Today is a work-in-progress kind of day because I have a few different things on my hook!

First up is this black heart-shaped bag. 🖤 The bag itself is together, the lining is in, and the straps are attached—but it still needs one final detail before I can call it complete. I can’t wait to show you the finished look!

I’m also working on a car key caddy for a customer. It may be a smaller project, but it still takes plenty of careful stitching to get the shape and details just right.

Some days are for finished pieces, and other days are for showing the work that happens along the way. Today, you get a little of both! 😊
