🦋 A little something you may not know about me…

October is Bell’s Palsy Awareness Month, and this one hits a little closer to home. 💗

In 2020, I experienced Bell’s palsy, a condition that causes weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles, typically on one side of the face.
It’s an experience that gave me a whole new appreciation for something most of us take for granted…our facial muscles and the ability to smile, blink, and express ourselves.
And it’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about incorporating facial massage into my treatments. ✨

When you come in for a facial, that massage isn’t just an extra little luxury. It’s an intentional part of the experience.
Facial massage can help encourage circulation, temporarily reduce puffiness, relieve tension, and promote relaxation. But for me, it means a little more.
Having experienced changes in my own facial movement, I understand just how much our faces are connected to our confidence and how we feel about ourselves.

Healthy skin is important, but so is feeling good in the skin you’re in. 🤍

So the next time you’re relaxing on my treatment bed enjoying that facial massage, just know there’s a little extra heart behind those hands.

I’ve had several wedding makeup inquiries recently, so I wanted to share a little reminder about my bridal availability! 🤍

I absolutely LOVE being part of your wedding day, but I intentionally keep the number of weddings I take each month limited. This allows me to continue caring for my regular TK clients while giving my bridal parties the time and attention they deserve. 🥰

I typically only take 1-2 a month. Once those spots are officially booked, I’m booked for that month. 🤍

If you’ve already inquired about your wedding date, please remember that an inquiry does not reserve your date. Your date is secured once your booking is confirmed and the required deposit is received.

✨ So this is 41… 🥂🤍

No filters, no fillers, no Botox. Just me, my skin, and a whole lot of professional skincare. 🫶🏼

And honestly, I must be doing something right because it absolutely tickles me when clients (and even teens and women in their 20s!) tell me they hope to look like me when they’re my age. 🥹🩷 I never take those sweet compliments for granted, and they mean more to me than you know!

I’ve never been about trying to freeze time or erase every line. Aging is a privilege, and let’s face it, we’re aging every single day! I just want to age as gracefully, naturally, and healthfully as I can.

My personal approach? Focus on skin health, invest in professional treatments, use the right products consistently, and give my skin the love it deserves. I believe you can achieve beautiful, glowing, healthy skin while still allowing yourself to look like YOU. ✨

I know injectables and fillers are a personal choice, and I’m not here to judge anyone else’s journey. For me, I choose to focus on what feels right for my body, my skin, and my long-term wellness.

Can we stop the clock? Nope. 😂 But can we support our skin, slow some visible signs of aging, and keep that healthy glow going? Absolutely! I’m not trying to freeze it… just slow it a little (or a lot, lol) in the healthiest way I can.

At 41, I’m embracing natural beauty, healthy aging, and feeling good in the skin I’m in. And as an esthetician, I love showing women that skincare is about so much more than looking younger. It’s about healthy skin, confidence, and taking care of YOU. 🤍
