Healing with Nanci Heart - Massage therapy and body work
Girl’s got BIG energy! We imagined her body filling with light starting at her toes and moving up her legs. It got stuck around the hips and abdomen so I gently rocked her body her and helped guide. There was something that felt like sadness on the front left side of her belly. I kept my hand there still for awhile just sitting with it. Then wrapped it up in sooooooo much love. 💕 her belly gurgled- yes! That’s good movement!! We welcome the shifting. The light continues to fill her rib cage, her chest, her neck, up to the top of her head till her whole body is filled with bright light and love. Her tailbone and back pain was connected to resisting the change that is meant for her. After we finished our session, I asked her if she knew what this was all about? “Yes! I’m moving out of state on Friday! I’ve thought of it for years and I’m finally doing it!” YES!! I’m so proud of her. Taking a LEAP! And she is READY for this!!! This is an example of her needing some additional help (she reached out to me last night and we squeezed her in today! ❤️) and SUPPORT- energetically and physically- in this big new adventure. Yay! So excited for her and trying a change for this next season of life!
“Do you still do energy work?” It happens naturally during massages. Some bodies I get more visuals than others. I only work with your body’s energy if I have permission to.
What do yall think? Who wants the “What I saw during massage today” mini series where I share stories of the visuals of what I see during massages again? 🙋🏽♀️ Thirsty, touch deprived lil muscles just screamin’ for love!
The hills are alive with the sound of music 🎵 To whoever donated this dirndl dress to Savers, know that it went to a home where it is so loved.

Happy birthday to John! We celebrated by backpacking 12 miles in Ashdown Gorge near Cedar City, Utah. We had done this once before back in 2021. It’s such a unique trail starting surrounded by trees in a woodsy landscape on day one, and finishing by hiking through the red rock and river of the gorge on day two. We had a small crew of four awesome humans and two super trooper pups, including Lucky. She is an amazing little adventure buddy! There was much more river crossing than I remembered. We are all sore today as expected 😅 I’m grateful for my body to be able to take me through beautiful places, my partnership with John and our shared love for adventure, spending time with people I love, and re-centering in nature.
