career? ✂️
I’m introducing a New Stylist Program at Velvet Root designed specifically for baby stylists who are ready to build their clientele, gain real salon experience, and start their career without all the added pressure.
If you want more details about the program, DM me! I’d love to chat and show you around the salon.
I’m Bre, owner of Velvet Root Salon in Lee’s Summit, and I’m looking for a few good people to grow this place with me.
Velvet Root is a booth rental salon for independent stylists who want to run their own business, make their own schedule, take care of their clients, and actually enjoy where they work.
And I’m trying something NEW.
I’m starting a New Stylist Program specifically for recent grads and newer stylists who want the freedom of working independently but aren’t ready to jump straight into full booth rent while they’re still building a clientele.
You’ll have a chance to grow your books, learn how to actually run your own business, and gradually work your way into regular booth rent over a six month period.
No stuffy salon environment. No pretending we’re all perfect. Just good hair, good people, support when you need it, and plenty of laughing along the way.
If you’re an established stylist looking for a new salon home OR a newer stylist wondering where the hell you’re supposed to start, come meet me and see Velvet Root for yourself.

If you’re a stylist or nail tech looking for a new salon home, I’d love to meet you and show you around!
