I want to share a little about the woman behind Woven Hair Company. 🤍

I’m a wife, a mother of three, twin boys and a daughter. I've been a cosmetologist of 21 years, and the owner of Shear Faith Beauty Salon in Lebanon, Virginia. God has truly blessed my life, and I don’t take that for granted.

I’m also a daughter to one of the most amazing and strongest women I know.

My mom is currently battling lymphoma and actively going through treatment. Watching someone you love walk through cancer changes the way you see so many things. It has made me think even more deeply about what it means to serve people during some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

For more than two decades behind the chair, I’ve learned that hair is never just hair.

Hair can be confidence.
It can be identity.
It can be comfort.
Sometimes, it can help someone look in the mirror and recognize a little piece of themselves again.

I’ve always wanted to serve others in whatever way I can. I can’t take away someone’s diagnosis or change what they are facing, but I can use the gift God has given me.

For me, that gift is hair.

That is the heart behind Woven Hair Company.

I created Woven to make quality hair more accessible, but the vision goes far beyond selling hair. We are raising money to start a nonprofit that will provide hair for patients experiencing hair loss who may not be able to afford it on their own.

My hope is to create more than a way for someone to receive hair. I want to provide a place where they feel seen, cared for, beautiful, and supported. A place where, even for a little while, they can focus on themselves instead of everything they are going through.

I believe emotional healing can come in many forms. Sometimes it comes through a conversation, a hug, an act of kindness, prayer, or simply helping someone feel like themselves again.

This mission is personal to me.

I’m a wife.
I’m a mom to three beautiful children.
I’m a daughter.
I’m a hairstylist.
And I’m someone who believes we are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others.

I want to use what I know, what I have, and what I’ve spent 21 years learning to serve people in the best way I know how.
