Freelance Makeup Artist based in Las Vegas, Nevada At Art Studio I also learnt that being a makeup artist was what I wanted to do the rest of my life.
I studied makeup art in 2004 at Stick Art Studio, Barcelona, one of the most recognized make up artists schools in Spain (Europe). I learned to handle brushes, blend colors, and that thanks to practice and experimenting I would get the best result. I learned that someone’s skin could also be an art canvas. I am passionate about makeup. I enjoy bringing out the most beautiful parts of a face and ca
refully camouflaging imperfections, but I also enjoy turning a shiny healthy face into the face of the worst rotten zombie. I love bright colors, glitter and false eyelashes. I have fun mixing different textures and techniques and getting the most out of the most colorful fantasy makeup. It really is my passion. And what better way to live than making your passion your job? I have been working as a makeup artist for 10 years. I have worked for prestigious international brands such as Biotherm and Helena Rubinstein, becoming the head of beauty advisors of the later. I have also worked for the LVMH group (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) in Make Up Forever, Barcelona. There I helped launch the first Make Up School in Spain, becoming the third one in Europe beating the expectations of the brand. I have done the makeup in films like “Perfume, the story of a murderer” of Tom Twyker. For which I characterized the actors as people of 18th Century Paris, making pustules and skin infections that were created to show the poor hygiene and access to medicine of the time. I also was in charge of the characterization of the main actors of the shows throughout Halloween and the Christmas season in one of the biggest Theme Parks of Spain, Port Aventura. Apart from this, I have worked in several music videos, short films, opera, photo shoots and catwalks in Barcelona, Madrid and Paris as a make up artist for Make Up Forever. In late 2012 I moved to Los Angeles to seek new challenges, I believe that this city has a lot to offer and I believe I have a lot to offer too! I view my life here as a continuous exchange of art and talent.
