If I’m being completely honest, owning a small business has taught me something I never expected.

Sometimes the people you know the least will support you the most.

I’ve had people who barely know me take the time to leave the kindest reviews, takes, share my posts, recommend my business, and tell others about their experience.

And then there are people I know personally, people I’ve supported, and even people I’ve provided services to for free… who I’ve had to practically hunt down and beg for a review.

And that used to hurt.

But I’m learning not to take it personally.

People will show you support in different ways, and sometimes the support you expect from one person comes from someone you never saw coming.
