Make Time for Your Health — You’re Worth It

Hey friend,

Let me ask you something: When was the last time you felt extremely fantastic in your body? Not just “not sick,” but strong, clear, alive?

I’m not a trainer. I’m not a fitness influencer. I’m someone who shows up for her health every single day — not because it’s easy, but because I’ve learned the cost of not showing up.

Here’s the truth nobody likes to say: You will never “find” time for your health. You have to take it.
The world will eat every minute you give it. Work, family, errands, scrolling. If you wait until life calms down, you’ll be waiting forever.

But 20 minutes is 1% of your day. 1% to stretch, walk, dance in your kitchen, bike one loop around the block. That 1% pays you back with energy, mood, sleep, and years.

I get the excuses. I’ve used them too:
“I’m too tired.” Movement gives energy.
“I’m too busy.” Busy people get sick too, and that takes way more time.
“I don’t know where to start.” Start small. Start messy. Just start.

Your body is the only home you’re guaranteed for life. You don’t need a 6-pack or 40-mile rides. You need to move it, feed it, and rest it — because it carries your dreams, your people, and your future.

So here’s my challenge to you:
Pick one thing. One.
10-minute walk after dinner
Stairs instead of elevator
5 push-ups before your shower
Bike to the corner and back

Do it today. Not Monday. Not “when things settle.” Today.

You don’t have to love it yet. I didn’t at first either. But keep showing up, and one day you’ll catch yourself smiling mid-workout, thinking “Damn, I feel fantastic.” That feeling? That’s yours to claim.

You’re not too old. It’s not too late. You’re not too far gone.
You just haven’t started yet.

Your health won’t wait for you. But it will wait on you.
So move. Now.

With grit and love,
Sambath

I left my family and my birth country, Cambodia 🇰🇭, for America 🇺🇸 in 2004 with just a suitcase and $9 in my pocket. I was 23 years old and flew alone — no family, no friends, and no English. It wasn’t easy. It was too rough for such a huge change, but I wasn’t scared. I wanted the world to know, “I am a grown adult and an independent woman!”

It took me many years to adjust to my new life in America. I had to keep telling myself, “I CANNOT GIVE UP, and I AM NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE UP!” No matter how hard life was at that time, because I wanted to make my dreams come true and live the American Dream. Especially, I wanted to chase a life of FREEDOM.

22 years later, I’m still standing strong, and I’m shouting out loud, “I am so proud to be an American, and I’m so proud of my smart choice!” THANK YOU, AMERICA & FREEDOM! 🙏 GOD BLESS AMERICA!🇺🇸

Praise the lord for holding my hands and walking through with me and you will never ever leave me alone!❤️
