Photos 1&2 are taken 10 seconds apart but I had her look up. The difference in color just from such a slight adjustment is wild! 🤩
This client is the perfect example of how much your hair reacts to what’s going on in your body. The last photo you can clearly see the thinning that has occurred over months. After being told it was postpartum hair loss, then side effects to meds, then stress, she finally was able to have a doctor actually listen her and she was diagnosed with anemia. We did a fun color change to help boost her confidence back up! And we are slowly working on haircuts to help even out the new growth with the length she isn’t quite ready to lose. Advocate for yourself people, because the healthcare system won’t.

There will be a 2-hour delay for the local school kids tomorrow. Keep it in mind if you're out for your late morning cup of coffee. Watch for buses and kids who have nowhere to walk except on the road due to the 2-foot-tall frozen snowpack on the shoulder. I know it's not like the old days when it was uphill both ways and the neighborhood kids all walked half a mile to one place for the bus to stop and pick us all up instead of stopping at every driveway like they do today, but times are different. Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, just be prepared to see the school traffic later in the morning so slow down and please drive safely.

Once a year we do the big appointment, about 4 hours. Grey coverage retouch, highlights/color deposit to bring the purple color up, maintenance haircut & blowout/curl. At times her hair can be a challenge-likes to do it’s own thing, but this time I really turned it out and I am so thrilled! 🤩
*side note* 2026 is the year I get better at taking photos!
