Purple shampoo can be a great quick fix, but that potion can turn quick if you’re not careful.
A few reminders about the rules to avoid seeing the dark side of purple 😈
💜 ASK YOUR STYLIST FIRST. They’ll let you know if purple is right for your hair and exactly how they recommend you use it.
💜 Purple shampoo is NOT a cleansing shampoo. Always use your real shampoo with purple to ensure your hair gets nice and clean!
💜 HYDRATE. Purple tends to remove some of the moisture from your hair. Using a deep conditioner or a serum same day can help restore that shine.
💜 Do NOT leave it on for longer than recommended. Blonde hair is porous and your hair will grab that lavender tone faster than you think depending on how pigmented your purple shampoo is.

Just because it’s fall, doesn’t mean we HAVE to go darker. We can easily just adjust how we blonde ✨
Here, my client opted to put in her longer extensions and brighten the blonde up while keeping a good bit of dimension. Two things we typically do, but this time we just went in a different direction 💁🏼♀️
