Fun fact: I’ve known my bestie 1998 Honda Prelude since high school. This was the FIRST house I ran away to when I was 17 and thought I knew it all. 😅😂

My Colombian family has been my extended family ever since. We’ve grown, changed, lived through so many chapters, and somehow kept growing right alongside each other. Years later, here we are… outside picking guayabitas off the tree. 🥹🌳

Some bonds aren’t made by blood, … they’re built over years of showing up, growing up, and doing life together. Los quiero mucho!!! 🇨🇴

Social media can inspire us, but it should never become the blueprint for how we live.🙌🏾 The greatest gift these travels have given me isn’t the destinations……. Lawd, it’s a new perspective. 🥹🥰

I’ve learned that a full life isn’t reserved for the lucky, the wealthy, or the influencers. It’s available to anyone willing to work hard, stay curious, and step outside of what feels comfortable. The world is bigger than an algorithm. Success is bigger than likes. Happiness is bigger than a highlight reel.

You don’t have to copy someone else’s life to build one you’re proud of.

Day 2: The passage to Soufrière was beautiful on its own, but dinner at Dasheene, overlooking the Pitons, was something else entirely.😍 Wow! I have seen this view on Instagram, before. I had no idea, that’s where we were going! Oh-M-G!!! 😱🌄

I kept reaching for my phone, trying to capture the sunrise, the views, the feeling… and eventually I realized it wasn’t possible. Some moments simply aren’t meant to fit inside a screen. So I simply stopped trying & put the phone down. 🙌🏾

The conversations became richer. The food tasted better. The drinks lasted a little longer. And the memories became mine instead of my camera roll.
Some of life’s greatest experiences aren’t the ones you post. They’re the ones you fully live.
