You may have noticed I don’t show a ton of faces on my page 👀

Of course, sometimes my guests just aren’t comfortable having their face in photos, which I completely understand and respect!

BUT if I’m being super honest… I think another big reason is that bold, contrasted face frames aren’t exactly having their moment right now 😂

The trend has definitely shifted toward softer, cleaner, more subtle face framing — and I totally get it! A bold face frame can be a little higher maintenance and not everyone wants that.

BUT personally… I love a bold face frame 😆 Give me those bright, noticeable pops around the face every once in a while 🤌🏼 Which do you prefer? 👀

This babe was ready to freshen up her blonde and wanted to feel lighter, brighter, and have some more noticeable pops of blonde ✨

I feel like dimensional hair has really shifted over the past few years — we’ve gone from higher-contrast, ribbon-y dimension to much more dainty, sprinkly, blended dimension. And don’t get me wrong, I LOVE dimension of all kinds 🤌🏼 but I’ll always have a soft spot for the bolder kind!

We added some stronger ribbons of blonde throughout while still keeping the overall look soft and lived-in.

POV : You found your next dimensional brunette inspo 😜

This gorgeous gal hadn’t had her color or cut done in quite a while and was definitely ready for a refresh! She was feeling like her hair was too long and lacking dimension, so we took quite a bit off to get rid of those dry ends and added long layers for some movement. ✨

For her color, she wanted to stay brunette but add some lighter dimension throughout. We also did a root melt to cover some sparkly grays she had. She wasn’t ready to fully cover them so blending with a demi-permanent was the perfect solution 😌 Gorgeous hair for a gorgeous gal!
