I have to give a shout out to the local businesses and business owners who have referred their customers to me without even knowing me. I just want you to know that whoever you are, I have probably sent people your way too! This is what it’s all about, supporting each other. Trusting in each other. I thank you for that!

Worth sharing my post again from a few years ago. ❤️

Hey Sugar.. can we talk?

1. It’s never too late to start!

2. I don’t care what size you are, what race you are, how old you are, or if you’re outgoing or shy. You will ALL be treated the same by me! Always!

3. Everyone can start at their own pace. I always say…There’s no gold medal if you go all the way. (You know what I mean!) It’s ok to start slow. A bikini or inbetweenie, if you are nervous, is a great start! Then if you want to go the next step to a Brazilian down the road you can.

4. The ideal time to return is at 4 weeks. Some like three weeks. During the summer, some like to come at 3 weeks if they are in bathing suits etc. .. I can do that.

5. People fall off the wagon. I get it. Whether it be financials or life getting in the way, I get it. Almost always, they jump back on and get back on track. Shaving irritation is real. I’m always here if you need me whether a regular, a new customer, or a past one. ❤️

6. Don’t compare your results. It Will happen. Everyone’s growth and texture is different. I say it a million times but my customers will agree, that regular maintenance is the best way to get results!

7. Discomfort. Everyone is different! Again, it depends on the coarseness of the hair. With repetition you Will feel the difference if you stay on a good schedule. I have customers who don’t even mind it the first time and those that take time. Most everyone says by the second or third time, it gets easier. Of course some spots may seem more uncomfortable for a while than others. Try to stay on a monthly schedule if possible. P. S. Start slowly. And would you PLEASSSSE stop watching those TikTok videos. 😂

8. Winter months. YESSSS. It is not worth missing a few times to have to start over come time for the warmer months. Many that have done this in the past, have ended up with irritation and right back to getting ingrowns.

9. Exfoliating Is important. Picture a tiny hair trying to poke through dead skin. It can’t. That’s why most people get ingrowns …because they skip this important step.

9. How long does hair have to be? At least 10 to 14 days if it’s the first time.

10. Don’t be nervous to start. It will not be embarrassing; I promise you that. No one, and I mean no one, is going to show me or tell me anything that I haven’t already heard or seen. It’s ok!! I am often told that they come to me because of my 5 star reviews (thank you so much by the way!!). I like to believe that the reason for that rating is because they feel comfortable around me, and that I made what some may think would be an awkward thing to do, more comfortable. I truly hope so anyway. ❤️

Thank you for all of the referrals. ❤️ Many have asked when they should return. Once a month is fine. In the warmer months, you can come at three weeks if you want! I do have people that prefer three weeks on a regular basis. I always try to express that hair removal shouldn’t be seasonal if you want to see the best results. I do know that life gets in the way sometimes, and you could always jump back on board at any time. ❤️ See you soon!
