Divine Hair Studios

Long caption alert, but today was one of those days. 🙏🏾💛

Sometimes when you’re in the middle of building something, you don’t always get the chance to stop and see what it’s becoming.

You’re working. You’re solving problems. You’re navigating the ups and downs. And then you have a day that makes you stop for a second and take it all in.

Today was one of those days for us.

We had a chance to look around and really see what Divine Hair Studios is becoming, and we were reminded that this is so much bigger than hair.

Yes, we are a salon. We braid hair. We cut hair. We style hair. And we genuinely love what we do.

But Divine is also becoming a resource in our community. A business that can connect, collaborate, serve, educate, and contribute in ways that extend beyond the salon chair.

To be recognized within our community, not just for the hair we do, but for the value we can bring to the people around us, is something we will never take lightly.
We’re still building. We’re still learning. We’re still growing.

And we’re incredibly grateful for every client who has sat in one of our chairs, every person who has supported Divine, and every opportunity that has allowed us to serve beyond the chair.

What started with doing hair continues to become something so much bigger.
And we have a little more to share about today soon.

Stay tuned. 🤗

The years, the tears, the ups, the downs, this road of entrepreneurship hasn’t been easy in the slightest. But one thing for sure and two things for certain: God has been faithful.

Faithful when we had the clients. Faithful when we didn’t.

Faithful when we felt discouraged. Faithful when we felt unstoppable.

These photos capture one weekend, but the story behind them has been years in the making.

They’re a reminder of prayers prayed, risks taken, lessons learned, and doors that only God could open.

To be here, not just attending the CT Barber Expo, but standing together as TEAM DIVINE, is something we don’t take for granted.

We’re grateful for how far we’ve come, excited for where we’re headed, and giving God all the glory for the journey. ❤️
