Recently I took an extended education class on curls. I’m so excited to try out new techniques I have learned and hopefully expand my clientele base. 🤩

In order to show off my new skills I am looking for 2-3 curly headed clients to be hair models for me. 🙋‍♀️

These haircuts will be free! I am looking for shoulder length or longer naturally curly hair. Must be willing to do a cut of my choice. I can definitely go into more detail on the type of cut I will be doing to serious inquiries only. 👩‍🦱

I had someone ask me once, “What is it with hair that you fell in love with?” I struggled with an answer and had a hard time with it for awhile. I questioned myself and my career; wondering if I had made a mistake with choosing this career path. Then, one day after I finished doing a clients hair, it hit me. I’m not in love with hair. Hair is not my passion.

However, I did fall in love with those few seconds when I have finished a look, and turn my client to see themselves in the mirror for the first time. I watch their face light up and see the sparkle in their eyes, and that’s when I know I have helped this person fall in love with themselves.

As women, I feel like we are so hard on ourselves. We feel this pressure from society or social media to look, act, or be a certain way, and with all the time and energy we put into critiquing ourselves, we barely have any left for loving ourselves.

So no, I do not love hair, but most of us hold so much of our identities in our hair that I have found my passion in that. Whether it be someone wanting to maintain, refind, or start over, I love helping people love themselves. ❤️
